2003年于哈尔滨工业大学获得本科学位,2009年于新加坡南洋理工大学(Nanyang Technological University)获得博士学位。目前主持国家自然科学基金项目一项,博士后面上项目一项。发表SCI/EI收录相关论文四十余篇,其中单篇被引用最高超过500次。 兼任IEEE Transactions On Evolutionary Computation、IEEE Transactions on Neural Networks、Swarm and Evolutionary Computation、Computational Optimization and Applications 、Applied Mathematics and Computation、Neurocomputing、International Journal of Engineering, Science and Technology 、Mathematical Problems in Engineering等多个国际期刊评审专家,是多个国际会议组织委员会委员。
