1964.8-1969.7年7月中国科学技术大学数学系本科生。
1969.8-1978.10月6090部队军垦农场劳动锻炼。河南省南召县国营5103厂子弟中学教师。
1978.10-1981.12郑州大学数学系研究生，获硕士学位。
1986.2-1988.7中国科学技术大学数学系博士生，获博士学位。
1991.11—1992.5德国汉诺威大学访问学者。1995.5—1996.5比利时Gent大学博士后。1998．8和2001.9月日本名古屋大学学术访问。2002.3-2002.5澳大利亚悉尼理工大学学术访问。2005.7-2005.8挪威Bergen大学学术访问。2006.2-2006.3香港浸会大学学术访问。
享受国务院政府特殊津贴，河南省劳动模范，河南省优秀专家，郑州市五一劳动奖章。
1997-2004郑州大学数学系主任，中国数学会第九届理事，中国计算数学会第五届理事、第六届常务理事，河南省数学会第六届副理事长、第七届理事长，中国计算物理学会第六届理事、“高等学校计算数学学报”编委，“Mathematics Review” 评论员。
现任郑州大学数学系教授，博士生导师。
