由郑州大学研究生院主办、化学与分子工程学院承办的2019年研究生国际暑期学校——化学分校于2019年8月2日至9日在郑州大学新校区化学馆化学与分子工程学院学术报告厅(208室)举行。通过聘请国内外知名学者讲授(全英授课)学术前沿课程和专业基础课程,实现优质教学资源共享,为研究生搭建夯实专业基础、提高研究水平、培养创新能力的国际交流平台。
The Chemistry Branch of 2019 Graduate International Summer School will be held from August 2nd to 9th, 2019 in the Academic Report Hall (Room 208) of the College of Chemistry and Molecular Engineering, at Zhengzhou University's New Campus. The summer school is hosted by the Graduate School of Zhengzhou University, and sponsored by the College of Chemistry and Molecular Engineering. The objectives are promoting the internationalization degree of graduate curriculum system, speeding up the internationalization process of graduate education, enhancing the innovative mind and ability of graduate students, and cultivating high-quality talents with international perspective.
The summer school will employ well-known scholars at home and abroad to teach academic frontier courses and professional basic courses in English language. The purposes are to realize the sharing of high-quality teaching resources and build an international exchange platform for postgraduates to consolidate their professional foundation, improve their research level and cultivate their innovative ability.
一、招生对象及要求
Recruitment Objects and Requirements
国内外学校相关专业在校研究生、本院研究生及本校相关专业在校研究生;准备第一志愿报考我院硕士研究生的全日制本科三年级在校生(化学专业学生,其中一本高校的学生专业排名在年级前20%,二本高校的学生专业排名在年级前10%。);因全程采用英语授课,要求学员英语功底好,原则上要求本科生英语通过CET4以上,研究生英语通过CET6以上,且具有英语听课的适应能力。
The following students are welcomed to the summer school: postgraduates of related majors at other universities, home and abroad; postgraduates of the College of Chemistry and Molecular Engineering at Zhengzhou University; postgraduates of related majors at Zhengzhou University; full-time junior undergraduates with chemistry major preparing for the first volunteer entrance examination for master's degree in our college (The students from the first tier universities should rank in the top 20% of the grade, and students from the second tier universities should rank in the top 10% of the grade) .
Because the courses are taught in English, students are required to have a good understanding of English language. In principle, undergraduates should have passed CET4 or above, and postgraduates should have passed CET6 or above, and have the ability to adapt to the teaching in English.
二、招生计划

本次暑期学校,计划招收学生80-100人,其中本科生30-60名,研究生30-40名。
In this summer school, we plans to recruit 80-100 students, including 30-60 undergraduates and 30-40 graduate students.
三、教学安排:
Teaching arrangement
1.2019年8月2日学生报到,8月3日上午开学典礼,8月9日下午结业典礼。
(1) The registration will be on August 2, 2019. The opening ceremony will be on the morning of August 3. The closing ceremony will be on the afternoon of August 9, 2019.
2.邀请日本京都大学副校长 Hiroshi Kitagawa 教授,日本京都大学化学院 张权 特别研究员,美国斯坦福大学 Georges EI Fakhri 教授,美国斯坦福大学 王俊峰 教授,中科院国家纳米科学中心副主任、国家杰青 唐智勇 研究员,郑州大学国家杰青 臧双全 教授为学员授课。同时邀请日本京都大学化学院博士研究生Keigo Kobayashi(D2),Yojiro Kimura(D2),Kentaro Aoki(D1),Masaki Donoshita(D1)与学员进行交流。

Admission
郑州大学化学与分子工程学院将聘请相关领域专家,根据申请人提供的材料对其进行综合评价,并作为主要录取依据。录取结果拟于7月28日前在郑州大学化学与分子工程学院主页上公布。入选学生需在7月30日前确认是否参加,逾期未确认视为放弃此资格。
The College of Chemistry and Molecular Engineering of Zhengzhou University will invite experts in related fields to comprehensively evaluate the materials provided by the applicant, and take these evaluations as the main basis for admission. The results will be published on the home page of the College of Chemistry and Molecular Engineering before July 28. The enrolled students are required to confirm their participation before July 30. Failure to confirm would be considered as a waiver of this qualification.

五、食宿及交通费:
5. Food, Lodging and Transportation
我院将为入选学生提供学习期间在校的食宿(学校或家庭所在地是郑州的学生原则上不安排住宿)。外地学生请自行预定往返车票,我院将资助外地学生往返郑州的火车硬座票或汽车票费用,学生须提供往返车票票据。另外为学员提供自习地点(化203教室)和电子阅览室(化205室)进行自习和互联网检索。
Our college will provide the enrolled students with accommodation and food during the study. In principle, we do not arrange accommodation to students whose schools or families are located in Zhengzhou. Foreign students are requested to book their own round-trip tickets. Our College will subsidize the fees of train tickets (hard seats) or bus tickets, and students are required to provide round-trip tickets. In addition, students are provided with self-study places (Hua203 classroom) and electronic reading rooms (Hua205 room) for self-study and internet search.
六、注意事项:
6. Precautions
1.学生报到时需携带身份证、学生证。
Students should bring their ID cards and student cards when they check in.
2.暑期学校举办期间,要求学生全程遵守暑期学校相关规定。
During the summer school, students are required to abide by the relevant regulations of the summer school.
3.学员须具有健康的身体和良好的心理素质,如发生医疗费用及个人行为导致的意外事故由个人承担。
Students should have healthy body and good psychological quality. The medical expenses and accidents caused by personal behavior are borne by individuals.
以上学生经考核合格,顺利结业的学生可获暑期学校结业证书,本校研究生并获得2个学分,冲抵相关选修课学分。
Students who pass the examination and successfully graduate can get the summer school completion certificate. The graduate students in Zhengzhou University could also get two credits to offset the credits of related elective courses.
对于参加暑期学校的本科生第一志愿报考我校并被录取后,在统招生中优先享受学业全额奖学金(第一学年),并获得一次性奖励3000-5000元。
The undergraduates, who take part in the summer school's first voluntary entrance examination and are admitted to our school, will enjoy full scholarship in the first academic year, and receive a one-time award of 3000-5000 RMB.
