个人简介
陈国旺,1935年6月4日生。1957年毕业于北京大学数学力学系，同年来郑州大学数学系任教至今，在此期间于1960年2月被选派为国家公派出国留学人员赴北京外国语学院学俄语，同年10月赴捷克斯洛伐克查理士大学数学研究所攻读副博士学位，于1964年10月在该校获副博士学位并学成回国。多年来一直从事应用数学和非线性偏微分方程的教学和科研工作。先后任讲师、副教授、教授和博士生导师。自1978年起主持一个非线性偏微分方程讨论班至今。参与了《偏微分方程》创办，1988年正式创刊出版。1988年至2010年2月曾任副主编之一并负责编辑部日常工作。该杂志对我国偏微分方程的发展及与国外的学术交流起到了积极作用。
陈国旺,1989年被评为河南省优秀教师，1992年开始享受政府特殊津贴，1993年被命名为河南省优秀专家，1997年被评为河南省优秀科技期刊出版工作者。


获奖情况
1.       合作完成的《升板建筑设计与施工技术——预应力锥形柱帽》获1978年全国科学大会奖。
2.       合作完成的《预应力锥形柱帽升板结构》获1978年河南省重大科学技术成果奖。
3.       陈国旺、邢家省、杨志坚，Cauchy problem for generalized IMBq equation with several variables 论文获1999年河南省优秀论文壹等奖。
