时光如白驹过隙，转眼本学期已过半，相信同学们都利用有限的时间在学习上、生活上收获颇丰。在象征着生命与活力的五月，英语俱乐部将在每周三的晚上和大家相约“英语角”，共同提高英语口语水平，共享美好的英语畅聊时光。
  现将五月份英语俱乐部“英语角”活动主题通知如下：

  Topic：Attract More Male Students to Apply for Normal University
  Fujian province has introduced a controversial policy aimed at attracting more male students to study at teacher training colleges, often called “normal colleges or universities”. A decreasing number of students are willing to study at such institutions in China. In response, the province has offered various incentives including free tuition and more jobs for male graduates from normal universities. Male students can also pursue graduate education without having to take the required exams.

They are making it a mandatory requirement for all professors and providing more incentives to those who teach more low-level classes, according to a report in paper.cn. observers said that the new rules are aimed at improving the quality of undergraduate education, based on the belief that full-fledged professors, with advanced knowledge of their fields and more resources at their disposal, can do a better job educating young students.
