郑州大学文学院简介

      郑州大学文学院的前身为郑州大学中文系，始建于1956年，是郑州大学设立最早的院系之一。1994年郑州大学艺术教研室并入。1996年底，郑州大学中文系与新闻系合并，成立郑州大学文化与传播学院。2004年6月，为了适应新形势下的发展需要，文化与传播学院撤消，分别建立郑州大学文学院和新闻与传播学院。
      郑州大学文学院下设六个教研室，分别是中国古代文学教研室、中国现当代文学教研室、文艺学教研室、语言教研室、写作教研室和对外汉语教研室。有1个博士学位授权点，即中国古典文献学；9个硕士学位授予点，即：中国古代文学、中国古典文献学、中国现当代文学、文艺学、美学、比较文学与世界文学、汉语言文字学、语言学与应用语言学、艺术学。有两个本科专业，即汉语言文学专业和对外汉语专业。除招收普通本科生和研究生以外，还承担中文普通专升本学生和其他不同层次成人教育学生的培养任务。有一个省级重点学科，即中国古代文学学科。有两门省级精品课程，即中国现当代文学史和中国古代文学史。有2个省级重点文科研究基地，即中原文化资源与发展研究中心和中原文化研究中心。有4个专业研究机构，即中国文选学研究会、中国古代文学与文献学研究中心、美学研究所和客家文化与华文文学研究所。有一个藏书近10万册的资料信息中心。主办有3个公开发行的学术刊物，即《语文知识》、《美与时代》和《中国古典文学与文献学研究》。另外，还有3个社会服务性质机构，即国家汉语水平考试（HSK）郑州大学、郑州大学普通话测试与培训中心和郑州大学秘书职业技能培训中心。
      郑州大学文学院每年招收博士、硕士等各类研究生100余人，普通本科生180人左右，中文普通专升本以及各类成人教育学生近800人。数十年来，为国家培养了大批在各个行业卓有成就的建设人才。
      郑州大学文学院教师队伍力量雄厚，结构合理，教师中具有博士、硕士学位的有47位。科研实力较强，科研成果每年都居学校文科院系前列。自建系起，有一大批在国内乃至海外都具有影响的知名学者曾在我院任教，如蓝翎、金观涛、刘青峰、张静、鲁枢元、李小江、陈继会等。同时，我们还聘请了40余名国内外著名专家、学者担任名誉教授或兼职教授，他们经常来我院讲学或进行学术交流。

School of Chinese Language & Literature

    School  of   Chinese  Language  and Literature,  the  former  Chinese Dept.  of  Zhengzhou University,  was  founded  in  1956.  It  is  one  of  the  schools  which  has  been  set  up  in  Zhengzhou  University.  In  1994,  Arts  Teaching  Section  merged  with  the  Dept.  At  the  end  of  1996, Chinese Dept. and Journalism Dept. have merged into one school named School of  the  Culture & Communication.  By  June, 2004,  in  order  to keep up with the new situation, the  School  of  the  Culture  & Communication  was  called  off,  followed  by School of Liberal Arts and School of Journalist & Communication individually.

   It  now   incorporates  six   undergraduate  programs  which   are  Chinese  Ancient   Literature,   Chinese   Modern  and   Contemporary  Literature,  Chinese   Language,   Science  of  literature and Arts,  Writing and Teaching Foreigners  Chinese as Foreign Language  etc;  It  provides one doctorial  programs  in  the  field  of  Chinese Classical Philology, and nine post graduate programs in the fields of Chinese Ancient Literature, Chinese Modern and Contemporary Literature, Aesthetics, Comparative Literature & World’s literature, Science of literature and Arts, Chinese Classical Philology, Science of  Chinese  Character;  Linguistics and Applied Linguistics etc; The School comprises two specialties for undergraduates: Chinese Literature and Teaching Foreigner Chinese as Foreign Language. Not only do we have the undergraduate students and post graduates, but offer the Adult Higher Education, post- college education and the similar kinds of educations. Additionally we have a provincial key specialty(Chinese Ancient literature); And we also have two Classic Courses(Chinese modern and contemporary literature and Chinese Ancient Literature); and two provincial key Arts Bases (The Center For Zhongyuan Culture Resources And Development; Center for Zhongyuan Culture .) four research stations: Aesthetics, HK & Taiwan and Hakka Culture; one; Center for Chinese Ancient Literature and Classic Philology; Reference & Information Room with a collection of about 100,000 volumes. In addition, there are three Academic Magazines charged by Zhengzhou University, run by the School: Chinese Knowledge, Beauty and Chinese Classic Literature & Classic Philology Research.  Apart  from those, there are three social service organization, they are the exam center of HSK in He Nan; Chinese mandarin test and training center; Professional Training Center for Secretary.

   The school’s total enrollment every year is about  180  for  undergraduates, more than 100  for  both post  graduates  and Doctors.  And the number  of the students for Adult education would reach nearly 800.  The School  has trained for the country numerous graduates  and  under- graduates,  and many of them have become the backbones on all fronts in China.

    The School owns a group of Productive and renowned scholars who have made great contributions to the fields. 47 of  them  have either PhD or Master’s Degree. They have great  ability  to  do  scientific research,  and  their fruits rank first in Arts School every year.  Since  the  establishment  of the  School,  there have  been a great many renowned scholars who have the world’s name lecture in the School, e.g. Lan Ling, Jin Guantao, Liu Qingfeng, Yu Shaochu, Zhang Jing, Lu Shuyuan, Li Xiaojiang, Chen Fei, Chen Jihui, etc. Meanwhile, we have retained about 50 in-and-out renowned specialists、scholars to be our honored or pluralized professors. They often come to our School to deliver speeches and conduct academic communication.

美学算是郑大文学院的二级学科，不算跨专业。
