为了提高我校研究生教育的国际化程度，激发学生创造性思维，介绍公共治理的前沿知识，促进学术交流，公共管理学院国际暑期学校将邀请美国内布拉斯加大学奥马哈分校公共事务学院的Craig Maher博士、Carol Ebdon博士、Daniel Scheller博士和Jie-ru Bai博士分别作相关学术报告，交流学术观点。

该项目将于2019年7月25日至7月31日进行，课程为期7天,其中包括6天的课堂教学，还包括1天对郑州市政府机构的访问。课程设计包括3类：1.教授讲座与分享；2.研究方法与应用；3.青年交流与融合。

In order to improve the internationalization of postgraduate education, stimulate creative thinking, introduce the frontiers of Public governance and promote academic exchanges in Zhengzhou university, This event invited Craig Maher, Carol Ebdon, Daniel Scheller, and Jie-ru Bai, from University of Nebraska-Omaha, to make relevant academic reports. Academic discussion sessions will be held after each lecture among invited experts, scholars and students to exchange academic ideas and stimulate creativity.

The international summer school in School of Public Administration will be held from July 25th to July 31st, 2019. The course will last for 7 days, including 6 days of classroom teaching, as well as 1 days of visits to Zhengzhou government agencies. The curriculum design includes three categories: 1. Master lectures and sharing; 2. Research methods and applications; 3. Youth exchange and integration.

一、招生对象及要求

1.郑州大学及校外相关专业（主要涉及管理学、政治学、经济学和社会学学科）在读本科生、硕士研究生和博士研究生、相关专业教师。

2.课程采用全英授课，要求学员具有良好的英语交流和学习能力。本科生英语水平在CET-4及其以上，研究生英语水平在CET-6及其以上。满足以下条件者优先录取：IELTS≥6.0, TOEFL≥85, GRE≥260, 通过WSK和PETS5考试。

3.参加所有理论课及讨论课程，学习结束由郑州大学统一颁发《结业证书》。另有少许旁听席位，可旁听理论课和讨论课，但不颁发《结业证书》。

I: Application requirements

This project will be open to students worldwide. The participants should be undergraduate or graduate students who are study in public governance and other relevant subjects.

All applicants’ English level should reach a certain standard (both oral and written). Undergraduate are required to pass CET4, postgraduates are required to pass CET6. Applicants who meet the following criteria will be given priority: IELTS≥6.0, TOEFL≥85, GRE≥260, WSK or PETS5 exam qualified.

3.At the end of the summer school, students who complete all the courses will receive certificates that indicate their participation in the summer school. There are also a few seats to sit in, but with no Certificate of Completion.

Craig ·Maher：博士，美国内布拉斯加大学奥马哈分校公共事务与社区服务学院 行政管理系主任、教授，主要研究领域为中央与地方的财政关系、电子政务绩效、智能社区。

Craig·Maher：Ph.D., Professor and Head of the Department of Public Administration and Community Services, University of Nebraska, Omaha, USA. His main research areas are central and local financial relations, e-government performance, and smart communities.

课程二：大数据与协同治理研究

Course two：Big Data and Collaborative governance

Carol ·Ebdon：博士，美国内布拉斯加大学奥马哈分校公共事务与社区服务学院 教授，曾任奥马哈市财务部长，主要研究领域为公共预算、财务管理、公共部门与私营部门的合作关系等。

Carol·Ebdon：Ph.D., Professor of the School of Public Affairs and Community Services at the University of Nebraska, Omaha. He was the Finance Minister of Omaha. His main research areas are public budget, financial management, the relationship between the public and private sectors and so on.

课程三：邻避冲突治理

Daniel ·Scheller ：博士，美国内布拉斯加大学奥马哈分校公共事务与社区服务学院教授，主要研究领域为邻避冲突治理。

Daniel·Scheller ：Ph.D., Professor, School of Public Affairs and Community Services, University of Nebraska, Omaha, USA. His main research area is neighborhood organizations.

专题：建立共识与调解

Special topic：Consensus Building and Mediation

Jie-ru·Bai：博士，美国内布拉斯加大学奥马哈分校公共事务与社区服务学院教授，主要研究领域为跨文化适应问题、移民家庭的精神健康和文化适应。

Jie-ru·Bai：Ph.D., Professor, School of Public Affairs and Community Services, University of Nebraska, Omaha, USA. Her main areas of study are cross-cultural adaptation issues, mental health and cultural adaptation of immigrant families.

1.所有想要申请暑期学校的同学，请下载申请表并填写，表格仅限一页，不需要提交纸质版申请表，仅限网上申请，填写完毕后，请将申请表命名为姓名-学校院系-学历，在6月26日24:00（北京时间）前发送到到邮箱：gggl2019@163.com

2.将会根据所提交的申请表确定审查结果，被录取的学生名单将公布于学院网站首页：http://www5.zzu.edu.cn/gggl/ 。

1.Only online application is available. All students who want to apply for summer school, please download the application form from the website ,  The form is limited to only one page. You do not need to submit a paper application form. After completing this form, please fill in the application form and submit application form by email to the organizing committee before June 26th 24:00(Beijing time):gggl2019@163.com, the subject of the email should in the form as follows:name - school department - Education.

住宿和交通

IV:Accommodation & Transportation

暑期学校不提供食宿和往返路费，暑期学校结束后对暑期学校学员提供餐费补贴。

Our summer school will not provide students with accommodation and meals during the period of summer school. All the students should self-paid transportation expenses. But we will provide meal allowance afterwards.
